Bank Of The West, Humanizing the digital banking experience.

Bank of the West needed a mobile-first, user-friendly digital experience that showcased their commitment to responsible banking. The old site was hard to navigate and manage, both for users and the internal team.

Team rebuilt the website with a flexible, scalable design system that empowers the bank’s team to easily create pages with consistent templates.

As a Visual Designer, I focused on creating a scalable design library and establishing Visual Asset Guidelines to inform all future design decisions. This involved developing a cohesive set of principles covering composition, layout, and asset categorization. Rather than just providing assets, these guidelines were designed to act as a system that future-proofs the website, ensuring consistent visual and UX standards as the bank evolves.

⤷ The revamped site significantly boosted engagement: prospects are 3x more likely to explore products,

and existing customers are twice as likely to use online banking. Conversions have tripled, and the project received iF Design and Indigo Design Awards.
